Shrimad Rajchandra Distribution of Essential Aids for Respite [DEAR] involves mass distribution of utility items to the needy. We distribute clothing, blankets, toys, cooking utensils, foot-wear, sanitary and hygiene kits and school stationery to thousands every year.
There are 23 million homeless people in India. Without proper shelter, changes in weather cause illness and displacement, particularly during monsoon and winter. During the monsoons, we distribute tarpaulin sheets and raincoats to keep people dry and to provide necessary shelter. Before the chilly winter sets in, we distribute blankets and kits comprising of head-gear, foot-cream and vaporub.
Economically disadvantaged people are also provided footwear, stationery and clothing.
